Homemade Ginger Peach Ice Cream

This creamy and delicious ice cream recipe uses fresh peaches and tastes amazing during a warm summer night!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 peaches
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Freeze the ice cream bowl the night before the recipe. Cut the peaches into ~1inch pieces. In a saucepan, combine all ingredients, beating in the egg yolks, and heat on low-medium. When it reaches 160 degrees F, take it off the stove and blend it using either a blender or immersion blender.
  • Now strain it into a bowl using a fine mesh strainer and place it in the freezer for about 30 minutes or until cold but not frozen. Now pour it in the ice cream maker until creamy.
