Smoked Paprika Hummus

The paprika gives this hummus a warm, smoky flavor.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can chickpeas aka garbanzo beans
  • ¼ cup tahini
  • Juice from ½ lemon
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 cloves garlic

Instructions
 

  • Sauté garlic in olive oil until golden and let cool. In a food processor, add remaining ingredients and start blending. Add 2 tbsp olive oil and continue blending. Add about 2 tbsp water or until it reaches desired consistency. Can serve topped with extra paprika.
