Parmesan Garlic Bread Baguette

This garlic bread recipe brings together the nuttiness of Parmesan with freshly-grated Italian herbs and uses olive oil rather than butter.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 half-baked baguette
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp Italian herbs
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese grated

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut baguette into four pieces and cut each piece lengthwise, like a sandwich. Place pieces, cut-side-up on a foil-lined baking sheet. In a small bowl, combine olive oil, Italian herbs, and garlic.
  • With a basting brush, brush olive oil mixture onto the cut side of each baguette piece. Top each piece with grated Parmesan cheese. Cook in oven for 16-20 minutes or until desired crispiness.
