Peel onions and cut into thick slices. Separate slices.
Grab 3 bowls. Add flour to bowl #1, eggs, milk, garlic salt, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper to bowl #2, and panko breadcrumbs to bowl #3.
Individually dip each onion ring into flour, then egg/milk, then panko. You can store them on a baking sheet.
Preheat air fryer to 375 degrees and cook, in batches, for 10-12minutes. Let dry on a cooling rack and optionally sprinkle with dried parsley for garnish. You can serve with your favorite sauce (we like them with spicy mayo!).
