Zoe’s Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup butter softened
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour sifted
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 3/4 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup raisins
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In large bowl, add room temperature butter and sugar. Use a beater to cream it together. Beat in one egg at a time and add in the vanilla. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, oats, raisins, and salt.
- Slowly mix in the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Using a spoon, scoop up a spoonful of dough and drop it onto a greased cookie sheet. Use a fork to smash down your dough a bit to form a flat(ish) disc.
- Bake cookies for 8 to 10 minutes or until they are lightly golden brown on top. Transfer the cookies to a plate and sprinkle some more cinnamon on top before letting them cool.
