This decadent Ginger Peach Ice Cream is the perfect treat for Valentine’s Day, a birthday, or any warm summer night 🙂
Homemade Ginger Peach Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 4 peaches
- 2 tsp ground ginger
- 1.5 cups heavy cream
- 1.5 cups milk
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ tsp salt
Instructions
- Freeze the ice cream bowl the night before the recipe. Cut the peaches into ~1inch pieces. In a saucepan, combine all ingredients, beating in the egg yolks, and heat on low-medium. When it reaches 160 degrees F, take it off the stove and blend it using either a blender or immersion blender.
- Now strain it into a bowl using a fine mesh strainer and place it in the freezer for about 30 minutes or until cold but not frozen. Now pour it in the ice cream maker until creamy.
