Sesame-Crusted Ahi Tuna
Ingredients
- 1-2 high-quality ahi tuna steaks
- 4 tbsp white sesame seeds
- 4 tbsp black sesame seeds
- 5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp wasabi paste
- 1 tsp sesame oil
Instructions
- Cut tuna steaks into large rectangles. Mix together sesame seeds on a plate and dip each side of the tuna in the seeds. Bring a pan to high heat with 2 tbsp vegetable or peanut oil. When hot, place tuna on pan and sear on each side for 1-2 minutes. For sauce, combine soy sauce, wasabi, and sesame oil in a small bowl.
