Roasted Pepper Romesco Sauce
Ingredients
- 6 oz jar roasted red pepper
- 2 tbsp tomato puree
- ½ cup almonds
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic
- ½ lemon juiced
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ tsp pepper
- ½ tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper
- ½ tsp chili powder
Instructions
- In a pan, heat the 3 garlic cloves (peeled) in 3 tbsp olive oil on low-medium heat until golden on the outside. In a food processor, combine all of the ingredients (including the garlic and olive oil from the pan). Blend until smooth. You can add more olive oil or almonds until you reach desired consistency.
