Turmeric & Roasted Pepper Hummus

A creamy, velvety spread with the smokiness of roasted peppers and the unique spice of turmeric.

Ingredients

  

  • 2 15 oz cans garbanzo beans washed and drained
  • ½ cup tahini
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ½ cup roasted bell pepper
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ lemon juiced

Instructions

 

  • Note: to make this hummus we used our immersion blender although you can use a food processor instead if preferred.
  • Place all ingredients into a bowl and use immersion blender to blend until smooth. You can drizzle in more olive oil or tahini to make it have a smoother consistency.
